I Heart Faces...{Beautiful Eyes}
I took this photo as part of a "Back to School" session. We were going for a vintage feel...and this very fashion savvy 11 year old chose her dress...and those fabulous shoes herself. Brilliant! :-) We started our shoot on the steps on a long abandoned elementary school...and ended up in a 1937 Ford Slantback (please be impressed that I named the car...I can barely remember what kind I drive...true story! :-)). It was a dream session that I will be sharing soon...but for now, this is my entry in the I Heart Faces weekly contest. This is gorgeous! The light is amazing and it is such a creative take on the theme. The eyes just pop even though it's not a close-up. Love it!!

Gorgeous shot! Impressed that an 11 year old came up with such a cool outfit. :) Will stop back to see the whole shoot--especially since I have a serious weakness for photo shoots with old cars (notice I didn't name any because I never know what model they are--it's all about color and old-ness!)
